9 x 12 Watercolor. The SE eastern Kestrel is the smallest falcon in the US. It like to hunt in open areas for small prey and nest in tree cavities. THis particular bird I painted was an ambassaor bird and cannot be released back to the wild. They are being presuured by loss of habitat.
